Washington NASA Space Grant Consortium opens doors for students in the fields of science, technology, engineering and mathematics (STEM).
Your gift to the Friends of Washington NASA Space Grant Consortium Fund helps us meet NASA's requirement for matching funds and supports a wide range of education and research activities on the University of Washington campus and throughout the state.
A gift to Washington NASA Space Grant Consortium will benefit students from all backgrounds in the following ways:
- Undergraduate Research: Space Grant supports robotics teams, student microgravity flights, internships in private industry and at NASA Centers, as well as more than 50 students in our UW Summer Undergraduate Research Program.
- Scholarships: Space Grant awards an average of 120 undergraduate scholarships.
- Fellowships: Space Grant provides awards to support graduate students working in NASA-related fields and to give pre-service teachers hands-on research experience.
Over the past 20 years, Space Grant scholars have received top academic honors including Rhodes, Goldwater and Gates Cambridge awards and gone on to successful STEM careers. Click here to read some of our alumni success stories.
