Washington NASA Space Grant Consortium's informal education activities are centered at the Museum of Flight and Pacific Science Center. They include special events, public lectures and exhibits, and other activities.
Washington Aerospace Scholars, based at the Museum of Flight, is an educational program for high school juniors from across Washington State. It combines distance learning of a NASA-designed curriculum with a six-day residential summer experience.
Pacific Science Center's Science On Wheels program enhances science and math learning in schools and community events across Washington state.
Rockin' Out, an outreach program of the University of Washington's Department of Earth & Space Sciences, offers lesson plans and classroom visits, participation in science nights, field trips, and tours of the Burke Museum of Natural History.
