Washington NASA Space Grant Consortium

K-12 Education

Washington NASA Space Grant Consortium offers informal educators and K-12 teachers a wide variety of professional development opportunities. We publish an electronic newsletter for educators twice monthly during the school year and act as a portal to additional online educational resources.

Astro Adventures, Pacific Science Center's award-winning astronomy and space science curriculum, addresses state and national for elementary standards. Their Science On Wheels program enhances science and math learning in schools and community events across Washington state.

The Museum of Flight offers professional development for educators and serves as home to Washington Aerospace Scholars, an educational program for high school juniors statewide.

Teachers seeking support to participate in NASA-sponsored K-12 competitions and programs are encouraged to contact us directly.
