This year the Northwest Earth and Space Sciences Pipeline (NESSP) will support free and/or low-cost summer camps in science, technology, engineering and math for K-12 students throughout the Pacific Northwest.

Mission Earth Scout One/Misión Exploración Tierra 1

Mission Earth Scout One/Misión Exploración Tierra 1 is a four-week STEM summer camp on the University of Washington campus to inspire bilingual youth through hands-on activities. The program is also seeking to recruit certified teachers to serve as program mentors.

Program information and applications are available for both students and teachers in English and Spanish .

Explore Mars

During Explore Mars at Central Washington University, students will take a journey to space as they plan a mission to return samples from Mars. Campers will learn about planetary geology, space flight, robots, and rockets through hands on activies.

NESSP STEM Summer Camps are a collaboration of Northwest Earth & Space Sciences Pipeline, Washington NASA Space Grant Consortium, University of Washington, Central Washington University, and the NASA Science Mission Directorate.
